Abstract art is a visual form of language , the colors and lines used to create a composition may exist with a degree of independence from visual reality, whatever the Hell reality is. This form indicates a departure from realism in depiction in painting, photography, sculpture or whatever medium one uses and can range from an accurate representation to partial reality, or it can be a complete departure that exists along a continuum of minor derangement to full blown psychosis, depending on the artist’s concept of reality or how many joints one smoked.
