It is said that the earth owns two good days, one visible and one invisible. One the body senses, and one the spirit visualizes. One the reasoning identifies and integrates, and one the spirit desires and absorbs. And on the day one can recognize their power to overlap these two, they will own the earth. I have walked many roads during my time here. Some smooth, and some not. I have met many good people, and some I chosen not to remember. Though I have yet to find the true meaning of life, I have accomplished most of the goals I set. I have experienced many forms of adventure, entertainment and employment, but the one that is most important to me is that of working with youth. There have been many, and they have impacted how I see the world around me. It is a brighter world knowing them, and I have no regrets. Ever sit and wonder how we survived the roller coaster ride of life and remain sane? Thinking back, I remember psychology classes that discussed how Erikson became aware of the influence of culture on behavior, how Avatar Adi Da Samraj offered a schema of seven stages of life which represents His Wisdom on the entire spectrum of human possibility, and about the Stages of Growth for Children and Adults, based on Pamela Levine's work, and Carl Jung's, The Structures Dynamics of the Psyche. And the wheel of intellectual rhetoric continues to bounce down the freeway of self exploration. I refined and reduced the content to this. It is my belief, and practiced theory that there only two rules we actually need to have what I consider a good life. 1. Find what is most important to you and eliminate the rest. 2. Look beyond your senses and remember to never underestimate your dreams.
