This was a project I took on after a 2 year road trip with 2 teenagers. As they wanted to graduate from a “real school”, instead of homeschooling, we built this log house and filled it with foster children. From site prep, which means cutting into the side of a small mountain, to moving in and firing up the wood stove was approx 8 months. This house is the last one I will build by myself………I think.
